The Boatslip

Though the boat slip provides convenient access, it can be quite slippy when entering/exiting the water. There is a large amount of shallow water at the entry point, used predominately by novice/nervous swimmers. It is also a popular area for families with children due to the shallow nature of the water at the entry point. Care needs to be taken as it does lead to a body of deep water in the centre of the river and users need to be aware of this.
