The beautiful picturesque island at the Bridge in Golden is a lovely place for a walk and a picnic for local and visitors alike over the summer. Tables are provided for this on both sides of the island making it an ideal spot to take a walk or just to relax and sit along the river bank. Angling is permitted by permit from Cashel Golden Tipperary Angling Club.
