Lacken Strand is an extensive sandy beach, popular with families. High tide covers the entire beach so care must be taken with parking on the beach, however the shallow water is enjoyable for families. Extreme care should be taken when swimming in or near the channel (visible only at low tide) at there are rip currents and quicksand. No lifeguards. Shore Surface: Sandy/Pebbles. Paddling: Yes.
