Fenit is a small, sheltered sandy beach, looking south onto Tralee bay, with excellent views across to the mountainous Dingle Peninsula on the other side. Thanks to its sheltered location and calm waters, the beach is very popular for swimming. There is a lifeguard on duty every day from the beginning of June until the end of August. Shore Surface: Sandy/Pebbles/Grass. Paddling: Yes. Jumping Or Diving: No. Lifeguard During Summer: Yes. Family Friendly: Yes. Swim Buoys: Yes
