Located on the north side of the Achill Island at the foot of Slivemore mountain, approximately 3km east of Dugort village. Dugort beach is a small, sandy Blue Flag beach, also known as Pollawaddy or Silverstrand. Popular with swimmers, families, surfers and walkers. There is a car park and picnic tables, with toilet facilities. The beach is lifeguarded during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice board located at the beach.
