Clashganny Lock

This is a shallow area of the river adjacent to a lock gate. It is right at the newly redeveloped area of Clashganny which now homes picnic areas & changing facilities. This area is a popular spot with families however there is no lifeguard present. It is very close to the Barrow river which does have a lifeguard. The water is very slow moving, shallow and clear so visibility is excellent. Shore Surface: Sandy/Pebbles/Grass. Paddling: Yes.
