Céibh an Spidéil is a long sandy cove facing east. It is bound by a large stone fishing pier and an area of rocky shore. There is a variety of plants and wildlife to be seen. Otters and seals can be spotted on the shoreline. Activities include swimming and angling. Céibh an Spidéil is classified as achieving Excellent Water Quality in 2024 based on the assessment of bacteriological results for the period 2021 to 2024. Céibh an Spidéil has achieved an Excellent Water Quality rating for the four consecutive years 2021 to 2024. Annual water quality ratings are generally calculated using monitoring results over a four-year period and are assessed against stringent bacterial limits to protect bather health. Lifeguard: Yes 12-6 Seven days July & Aug, weekend June/Sept Dogs: No dogs allowed on designated beaches during lifeguard hours. Dogs allowed on a lead at all other times.
