Abha Bhan Playground

Our Park is situated on the picturesque Shannon Estuary & Wild Atlantic Way and runs adjacent to the Abha Bhán (White River). Our Park is purpose built for all ages and is fully wheelchair accessible which includes a wheelchair accessible toilet, wheelchair usable trampoline and carefully built sensory garden which means no child is excluded. It also boasts a 40x20m floodlit Astro Pitch and outer walking/ running tarmac path which is safe to use for exercise purposes. There is plenty of space, benches and seated areas to sit quietly or have a picnic on the 2.5 acre site which is surrounded by natural trees, shrubs and wild flower meadow making the park biodiversity compliant. There is a carpark integrated into the overall site with 20 plus parking spaces and the park is fully fenced off from the main road & river meaning it is fully secure and safe once inside
